If you want legit, three companies will now advance prescribe with basically no effort on your part at a reasonable cost: Jase Medical Contingency Medical Duration Health I went with Contingency Medical as this one didn't require a video consultation with Dr, just a chat box going over the formalities. Was smooth and painless, but Duration Health includes some medications that the others do not so I may try that as well. |

I've ordered kits from both Jase and Contingency and highly recommend both. Jase allows you to select all kinds of add ons which you may find useful, for reasonable prices. Both allow you to reorder annually, so over time it's a good way to build a supply. I went through a consult with Duration, however by the time I added on what I wanted the price skyrocketed. Quantities of meds were smaller too, however they offer the most options for add ons, by far. Duration and Jase both offer pediatric options. |

Possible current source for fish antibiotics. No personal experience with this company though. https://fishmoxfishflex.com/ Of course for anyone interested, there is still Alldaychemist https://www.alldaychemist.com/ |

But I trust this company so I'd trust that their new supply of AB is good. |

I recently received an email from FishMoxFishFlex.com saying, "Unfortunately soon we will be closing our website to make sure we are in compliance with new regulatory guidelines in our industry." I know the FDA was coming down on other companies like Kraft, but does this mean all fish antibiotics won't be available soon?? |

Most likely we will have to get them from Alldaychemist in the future. |

I'll just buy from Alldaychemist or Reliable RX. |

Think I paid $30ish for a bottle. 120 pills? I can’t remember the pill count |

The literature claims a 10% cross-reactivity between PCN and cephalosporins. I'm here to tell you that's 100% bullshit. Never seen it. Amongst my ER group, we've probably a hundred years of collective EM experience... and NONE of us has seen an anaphylactic cross-reaction from a cephalosporin in a supposedly PCN-allergic patient. Not one of us has seen it... not even ONE time. I have personally been prescribing cephalosporins to PCN-allergic patients with impunity for several decades. No issues. So make of that what you will... but I'd say a cephalosporin like Omnicef might be exactly what you'd want. |

As someone with a penicillin allergy, I have taken cephalosporins without issues prescribed, ironically, by my ortho surgeon. My reaction was in the 70's in an ER and was pretty severe from what I was told, I was an infant at the time. I have heard that some allergies may be do things added to penicillin back in the day that are no longer used and not an allergy to penicillin itself. No idea if there is any validity to that. On another note, where are folks sourcing supplies these days since the fish stores all got shut down. |

Have never seen anyone with a penicillin allergy also be allergic to cephs, outside of people that are just riddled with drug allergies to begin with, which I think only underscores that the only people that are allergic to cephalosporins as well are those that would be allergic to them regardless of whether they have a PCN allergy to begin with. |

Yes... some people are simply atopic.. and allergic to the entire frickin' ecosystem. Some of them have to move to arid desert environments, because being around anything that blooms or drops pollen causes hellish misery. If they're not one of those folks, and they have >7-8 drug allergies, you should start looking for Axis 1/2 disorders. |

what about hardypaw.com? I'm legit looking for Amox for our cat for chronic bladder infection, and vets are getting over $200 for an appointment, plus $100 meds!!!!! How long does it take to get alldaychemist orders? They have the powder, which would be easier dosing for her than pills. |

| What antibiotic is not able to be stored long term? I know one becomes toxic over time. Is it Sulfameth/Trimethoprim? Or is my TBI'ed brain messing up on me again? Doxy okay for long term? I am allergic to nearly every other antibiotic out there. |

I don't think that's correct, probably harder on your liver and organs but definitely not poison i.e, your going to die shortly after. Doxycycline I take "older" doxy fairly regularly for sinus infections with no issues. The "stay out of the sun" thing is more for kids. |
