| Was walking to the gym a different way and a house in the neighborhood has a couple apple trees that are bursting. I asked permission and he said to help myself. Now my wife and I like to make apple sauce and butter so some will get used. But I'm hoping that someone has some experience with long term apple storage. I just can't let all those apple go to waste. |

I'm sure he'll appreciate it. |

I don't know how long it keeps that way but I don't remember any ever going bad before it was used. Seems like there were always a dozen Mason jars of it in the cupboard, worked perfect for whipping up a quick apple pie. |
