Long weekend, but got it done,just need to finish up the lower wiring. Attached File I used a strap with hook under pvc lip, tied off to lift to raise it up the pole, worked great Attached File Wife came home in time to help me.....1st up? 30 feet into the air to replace deck screws with lag bolts. She was on the road all day, just got back from DC, she humored me by take the lift up and helped put lag bolts in. She has probably 12 pairs of that Spanish style, different colors for different outfits

My time is free, we got several quotes between $4500/$5500 to do what I did this weekend and 3 to 6 month lead time. Renting lift, 1/2 tank of gas for her truck, all the conduit, elbows etc, 4 clamps and the wire, I had about $500 in it, so I saved about $5000 I will button it up this week after work and maybe they can turn it on on Friday |

Cold and snow slowed me down, but finished this up last night, today is a dump day and more wiring. Also have to move heat pump back and open it up to clean and wire it. Attached File Lower clamps are still loose that's why clamp is crooked |

Thanks, just went to feed cat at shop and threw so food into big plastic trough pond we built over 10 years ago. These guys are still alive, white/orange is 1 eyed jack. Don't remember other one. iI bought 10 @ .99 feeder fish from wally world.....they have lived a hard life, breaking ice when heater and air doesn't work. Attached File |
