And the back half is finished! Attached File I have one more corner of flooring to do still, but I've got a couple other items to take care of before that. I'm very happy I have a flat surface to build shelves on and be able to store the rest of our junk though! The entire back half is dedicated for storage, and the remaining corner will be used as an area for work benches and freezers. |

I didnt think anyone would want to see another step by step of the flooring, but I finished the final corner up: Attached File Next step in the shed will probably be some shelving, and once the ground dries up a bit, I'll do some more work on the mill to get the strips to finish the siding. |

Harbor freight moving dollies under the totes on the floor, makes pulling them out super easy if you have the room under the first shelf for the double tote plus a dolly underneath https://www.harborfreight.com/material-handling/hand-trucks-carts-dollies/moving-dollies.html |

No real updates with the shed since the shelving, but im finally getting started on the woodshed. Im playing around with footings on this a bit, and if it works out OK, ill build animal shelters similarly in the future. Attached File Footings are 30" long treated 6x6's that are 2' in the ground, and on top of 6 inches of crushed rock/crushed concrete. I drilled a 6 inch hole in the end of the post and footing, and glued a 12" piece of rebar in place to help hold them together. Ill also end up using some sort of hurricane strapping to sure things up a bit more. |

The majority of the property is on a hillside. If I want it to be flat, I have to either cut or fill... Long term, there is going to be a massive amount of dirt work in that area, and the dirt walls right next to this area wont be there. The taller dirt wall will have a driveway at about the same height as the shed floor, then the ground will slope up on the other side of it. |

Front foundations are in. Started milling today for the remaining lumber... hoping to have what I need finished up by next weekend. Attached File I have some busted out concrete that I plan on breaking up even more to firm up the ground in, and in front of, the the wood shed. |

Made some more progress over the weekend with a bit of help. The front posts and beams are in, the primary connections between the front and rear posts, and the angle supports in that direction. Next step is to get the side to side angle supports in, then get the rafters installed. Attached File Attached File |

More work continues today. Attached File Taking lunch now, but I've got all the angle supports installed, and measured the roof beams to check square. Will cut them to length, then start installing rafters! |

The rain decided to make an unforcasted visit, which made the muck that much muckier. I managed to get the rafters up after lunch... next step will be to cut them to length on each end, then install the purlins. Attached File |

Ends of the rafters are cut to length, and I started marking out where the purlins will go. Tomorrow ill start securing the purlins. Ill drop plastic down to make sure moisture isnt an issue, then drop pallets for the wood to be stacked on. Temporary roof metal is up for the main portion. Need to get my order in for the new metal still, but this will work for now. Attached File Also got the outer layer of wall boards on... or at least the lower portion of it. Still need to cut off the ends, but ran out of time to finish it today. Ill another row of boards on the inside of the posts. This will allow good airflow for seasoning the wood while hopefully limiting the snow and water that can get to the wood. Attached File |

Cut the siding boards down to length, installed half of the siding on the middle wall, topped off the flooring with gravel, laid down an old tarp, and placed pallets down for the floors. This bay is ready to start stacking in firewood. Attached File I need to do the front overhang before I can do any siding on the upper half, so I've still got a bit to figure that part out. |

Moved my reloading/work benches into the shed. I'm planning on securing them to the wall/floor, so I decided to insulate the wall behind. I didnt grab any pictures before sheathing the larger wall after insulating, but I did get one of the smaller section. Attached File Doing my last cut of the night, I made a mistake... I was cutting out a hole for an outlet and did it on the wrong side of the plywood. This was scribed to fit against the post, so flipping it around has a less than perfect fit... when I sheath the upper portion, im going to have to square up the top edge a bit better.
