Its a Whip Antenna Guy Ring. There's two sizes for the MFJ 17ft whip, one for the top of the first segment and one for the top of the third segment. I also made the pegs holding the microcord as a different securement method. The orange ones are for a SOTABeams Carbon6, I think. They inspired me to make my own when it sat too low on the whip, as well as a standard 20ft pole guy ring sat on top of the base of the whip. Attached File Attached File |

| SendCutSend has gotten a fair amount of ham project business from me. Latest is a fan mounting plate for an FT-980 HF rig. I redesigned the OEM PSU/PA cover to mount two additional computer fans over the power supply section. I'm going to revise it slightly to make it easier to attach the fans and will probably have them powdercoat the pieces when they fab them. |
