@greatdane I'm sure I have one I can spare!, I think I have a little baggie with random patches it would be in but may have to dig. Pm me an address and I'll toss one in an envelope for you!!  eta idk what color it will be, I remember I got a green and a silver / khaki. If you have a preference let me know and I'll try to accommodate if I find both. |
I have lots of first aid type things. I need to go thru them all and get rid of stuff that likely isn't good any more. Usually, it's things like elastic bandages where the elastic has died or band-aid things where the adhesive has died. This is especially true of the ones I keep in the car that is out in the Texas heat all summer.

yup.. i dumped it all. made an inventory and bought new from Amazon (since a lot of the larger bandage sizes are harder to find) - because of bulk pricing on amazon i spent about $130, but was able to refit this FAK, and also the one in my Truck, and also create 2 more using ammo cans as the housing, and I still have a lot of extra stuff. that included getting additional shears etc to make sure they all have essentially the same level of capability except for the sam splints on the big bag. |

About once a year I go through my car first aid kit and toss out questionable content. Then a visit to my usual drug store for new stuff This year I repurposed one of my late fathers many tool boxes into a first aid kit for the house; a step up from the cardboard boxes I used to use. My hiking first aid kit tends to get used more regularly, especially the years I recert on wilderness first aid Its never a bad idea to have more first aid stuff than you think you need |
