Just completed our order with these guys today! Never had a camper trailer before. Anyone got one? They seem to have a cult following on Facebook with the 50+ and overweight community |

I looked at them along with a bunch of other squaredrop, teardrop trailers and in the end passed because I was 100% certain that for my purposes I would soon tire of not being able to stand up inside, or really even kneel (6'6") They are for sure popular though. I got mine in June 2019 before the majority of the launch editions were even delivered. I ordered as son as ordering went live for the most part, but did not order a LE. |

It’s done things that I thought it wouldn’t and I’m sure is way more capable than my skill. |

Well, that was helpful!! Am I missing a joke about them being popular with 50+ fatties? They look a bit like a coffin or is it being tight inside like an MRI machine? I think my F250 would be overkill for towing it! There was a time that I would’ve thought that was pretty cool. Now that I am over 50 and fat, I’m going with a no though |

There’s a meet up every year, every single couple looks the same! They’re small. We went for a 5x9. But also that will fit in the garage |

If all someone wants to do is go to a "campground" and set up 8 feet from someone else then minimalist campers probably arent for them. If they are looking for oohs and ahhs to impress people, probably not for them either. Its a purpose built tool for a more focused usage. Alot of people just dont get it. We put 11k miles on in 8 weeks between the first of July and the first week of September. I never once wished I had a bigger trailer. The most common question from people we did and didnt know was "How do you live in something so small?" The answer is "We dont, we live out of it". And that is the difference between a minimalist camper and a big honking RV. |

Hiker has really come along. It's been fun watching them evolve over the last 4-5 years as they really grew and became more specialized as to what their customers started using them for. I looked at them once when they were very basic...........and cheap! Now? Not so much.....just like the rest. There's a few good YT channels out there on mods and such. And yes, the off road teardrop crowd is one with more time, no kids, etc. They are just tiny and it works for some people. I love mine. I have a TC. |

We looked at them and ended up with a Taxa tiger moth when I got laid off at the beginning of Covid before prices went stupid. Thought about switching it up many times, but we've added an ARB awning and room and it's been great. we take it where we couldn't get a larger trailer into. If I wasn't unemployed when we said duck it and bought this one, we would have bought a 4 wheel campers pop up for our truck.Attached File Attached File Attached File Attached File |
