There was a gentleman that was active in amateur radio, electronics, and Geiger Counter groups. He ran a Yahoo group and when yahoogroups went defunct, Groups.io. Nobody has heard from him lately, and he is not answering email. George Dowell goes by "GEOelectronics / GEO / callsign K0FF I'm not a radio amateur, so I'd appreciate it if anyone could, what do you call it? Do a CQ? Or ask around and find if the guy is still active or if he's gone to the great Electromagnetic Spectrum in the sky. Thanks in advance. |

@TowerIQ How long has George been missing, out of action. He was associated with the Quincy, IL club for a while back in the 90's, I used to chat with him on 6 M occasionally. I had the notion his health wasn't really good then, just little cues he dropped, but that was back in the very late 90's. His QRZ page was last edited in 2018. hth 73, Rob |

Are you sure of the Hannibal information? If you are using a people finder site, they are quite easily mislead by relatives or others with the last name.
