Friday I'd just settled in to an elevated box blind and hadn't even played a sound when she appeared, heading to a bait pile of deer carcasses, beef liver, and lambs.  Through the grass - coyote down.  |

Yep. I was worried about shooting through the grass, there wasn't a good confirmation "THUMP!", and the scope shut off at the shot and everything went black. I usually have a few seconds to stop the recording on my phone after the scope shuts off or otherwise the video is lost. So it was a relief to see the video saved, review it, and only then know she was down right there.
