Just got back after a trip from Fort Pierce to Davis harbor in Eleuthera, Bahamas and back. The boat ran great and we crushed a ton of fish. We were down there for a week and averaged 8 to 15 dolphin a day, a few blue marlins. We ran back from Davis harbor to fort Pierce in one day on the way home. 310 miles in a day was a long boat ride, 12hrs from inlet to inlet. Here's some pics and lure camera footage. Awesome! I spent four months on Harbour Island as crew on a motoryacht/sportfish program and I loved it there. Amazing flats fishing for bones, and incredible yellowfin fishing. Fantastic grouper fishing too. Spear fishing on the reef...I could go on forever. Eating straight from the fish at the cutting table ruined me for restaurant sashimi forever. |
