3G9S Navarino Island southern tip of South America and LZ0A South Shetland Islands are on 14.090. That's a bad freq for me with solid QRM signal most days. I setup WSJT to listen to my input of a local web sdr so I could hear. Slight delay because of network latency but made the contacts. |

contest this weekend.. got Galapagos Islands, Morocco and Cape Verde on 10m for a few 'new to me' DX And stuff I already had, mostly EU with some S.Americans. Israel and South Africa, were the longest distance away. This was using my newly constructed 10m EFHW.. not bad for a "fair" report for band conditions. Kinda wish I had put up my 20m EFHW instead. |

Yeah I hope that "fair" BS on the forecast isn't affecting anybody today. I'm not on the air, working. I hit Guam, Cayman Isands, Cape Verde, Argentina, Trinidad & Tobago, Australia, New Zealand, mostly 15m & 10m. Bunch of JA stations on 40m Friday night, that was a first for me. Band conditions were excellent for this. |

CE0Y/DJ4EL is a 1-man dxpedition out of Easter Island and he's been running SSB simplex. I got him on 21.260 earlier. He was about 57 here in MA. I thought it was kind of fun to speak with Easter Island on Easter weekend. Looks like he is on 24.935 at the moment. |
