I'm in the process of purchasing some property in Oklahoma, and I'd like to get some cellular trail cams. Are there any that don't suck? The last time I used some Stealth cams (5 years ago), they failed constantly. I think the landowner had to replace them every 6 months or so. The reviews I'm seeing on many current cameras aren't a whole lot better. |

Tactacam and Moultrie user here. Switching to mostly Tactacam as time and $ allow, going with combined solar panel and battery with camera - will save $ in the long run, and I think be more convenient when I am in deer season and the weather is colder. The rechargeable battery packs for the Moulties have worked ok - bought the knockoffs on Amazon - way easier and cheaper to swap a battery pack than all those AA batteries. |
