Total newbie fishing deep salt water, and booked a trip.
I have fished coastal,reefs,and flats in Florida and Texas. Buddy at work talked me into going, said its a good time. Tilefish, grouper, swords ,and tuna out of Cape May, Delaware. Do any of you guys have any experience? Tips, pointers? I have run great lakes charters( buddy's boat), at 2-400 ft., but never 6-900. Is it a good time to go, or am I on a BS boat ride? |

Mom and Dad had a house in Cape May. I grew up fishing out of there in the 70s and 80s. Fished the bay on one side and the Atlantic on the other. Used to make a few bucks cleaning the boats when they came back in.
Like any charter, depends on the Capt but most guys there will get you on fish. You can pull some beasts out of The Canyon. |
