Black tank flush backflow preventer leak

Today I discovered that my backflow preventer for the black tank flush line is leaking out the open top.

Is there a better design that I can replace the one that's in here with? This is what is in there now

I don't understand why they'd make it so water could leak out the top(inside the RV, of course)
