| Looking to purchase several traps for our barn to put along walls and high traffic areas for mice. Our kids are in there often as our smaller dog will be as well. I would rather not deal with the wooden traps being activated by my dog’s curious nose. Are there better alternatives today? |

you can make these with dollar tree flexible cutting mats, cut out a 8x8x6 triangle and staple the 6" edge to a 1' 1x4 and set across the bucket, spread p but under the point, put2"water in bucket with a few drop dish detergent. |

I have been getting some darned good hauls with my bucket traps. Last night was my best, 16 total in two buckets. Nothing in the shed that would attract them except the peanut butter on the buckets and they are both outside. Instead of the packaging pillows you can cut a piece out of a plastic shopping bag, they use brown colored ones at our hardware store, and float it on the water to give the illusion of a solid surface. |

I've had rats eat soo much of it I was finding green turds around. Get something like Liphatech Flatline Soft bait Rodenticide. |

I have to second those bucket trap lids. They are a killing machine! I have a few in all the outbuildings and they work great. You can put water in them to help out too only thing I like better are the fruit fly zappers!
