I thought a formal bear hunting thread would be nice to have. This will be my first spring bear season in some time. I set a bait a couple of weeks ago and it's been a blast making runs up to check it. It's been hard work and hopefully it will pay off. I last checked it on Sunday. So far I have only one large color phase boar coming in. He's shown quite a bit of comfort and habituation thus far. If he keeps his consistent pattern I should be able to close the deal.  |

He doesn't look comfortable yet OP, when he sleeps all day draped over your drum or the log that you drip molasses all over, then he is comfortable...of course this is brown/grizzly bears... Attached File |
