A close friend recently passed and his family is not in a position to keep a bird dog as a home pet. He is an intact 4 year old Llewellin Setter. All shots are up to date. This dog can flat out hunt – great nose. He is house broken, but does require daily run/activity to be a happy family pet. I’d hunt my Griff with this dog, and he acted as a quazi “mentor” for my dog when I got him two years ago. Great with kids, not a bitter and not aggressive. First question out of the way, there is no way I can have two bird dogs at home that live in the house. The family does not want the dog to live outside in a kennel. He currently lives in the Asheville region of NC. |

| I surely would like to but my wife reminds me that we are 80 and 84. The dog will probably out live us though our health is good. I will think it over and get back to you this evening. Perhaps I will go for it but if someone else wants the sport, don't hold back. |
