I tried posting on a Tab specific forum but haven't gotten any useful info. I may even have to break down and post in GD lol I have a new to me 2021 Tab 320 and since I never saw it in its original state, I don't know if mine is broken or not. Also, I can't find the part number ANYWHERE and don't know what to name it, so ill just have to describe it. (maybe that is because its not supposed to be a separate part) The issue is what I will call the "docking plate". When you push the cassette into the compartment under the toilet, there is a white plastic "docking plate" inside the compartment under the toilet that pushes the gray sliding plate on the top of the cassette out of the way and mates the cassette to the toilet. Is that plate, or flang, or what ever it is called... Is that supposed to be removable from under the toilet? Because mine is. It is LOOSELY held in place by "friction" Is it supposed to have a gasket or O-ring or something? My toilet is leaking when the cassette is inserted. Ive already replaced the lip seal on the cassette 2x and when I remove the cassette and pour water into the "cup" on the cassette, it does NOT leak. It's only when inserted, so I have the feeling that fluid is getting between the plastic parts somehow. Any ideas? I should purchase a membership (should do that any way) so I can post pix. As you can see from my post count, Im not much of a poster, although I do read the forums every day. I appreciate any and all help! |
