Seems the link for Kings Surplus isn't working, as there's no posting in Survival forum. Anyone know of any companies or persons posting on this forum, selling MREs? I looked up Kings Surplus on line, they deal with industrial equipment, only. I don't reside in Idaho or Utah, hell of a drive from Phx. Arizona area. Any help will be greatly appreciated! Thanks! |

Kings MREs I have bought a bunch from them. A pretty good deal on current MREs for $4 a pop delivered. I have got them as cheap as $3.25 but those are usually recently expired. They were still fine. Some items don't hold up well (Like the sour skittles) and my wife says the plain M&KM's taste stale. In the nearly 200 i've eaten from them, i have had exactly one meal that didn't taste right. May have been edible buy i didn't eat it. I generally think the sliced bread is nasty and has a strange odor to it, but again, probably edible (I ate it once with no ill effect, just don't like it). As someone who used to go out to eat on a regular basis and doesn't like cooking for 1 every day at lunch time, they are pretty good meals and the sides are often excellent. I love the cobbler... and if you crumble the patriotic sugar cookies and sprinkle in a chocolate pudding, it's nice... |
