| I’m in Illinois. I know you can hunt with a revolver or single shot with specific calibers, but can you hunt with a semi auto 10mm? The rules are not very specific. Asking here. Anyone here know or hunt with a semi auto pistol in Illinois ? |

Illinois might allow a 10mm pistol that meets the barrel length and single shot definition for rifles that allow single loaded autoloaders with either single shot or no magazine near the firearm. I have deep roots in Illinois and there's a lot to like about the state, but I couldn't live there nowadays. |
