I certified at LGS on 2/22/22, everything was hunkey-dorey. Got an email today from BATFE, form 4 DENIED - OTHER ... odd. Reason for denial: "VERIFY CITIZENSHIP"... interesting.  The document I signed and certified clearly has US CITIZEN checked.  The 5320.4 in the ATF email has "Other" checked.  What a shitshow. |

Attached File I see them responding with “you were supposed to actually look at the form you were certifying and verify the info was correct…not only the DocuSign” While this is true, what a shit show. |

I checked my form 4 and it's filled in like yours, with X's. Looks like they changed the form to completely block the boxes out. Biden's ATF doesn't want people to have nfa items, I guess there is nothing anyone can do about that.

Update One rejected for citizenship on 4-13 Got new email on 4-18 to docusign again Recertified on 4-19 Received another email 4-19 saying it would be expedited Did not need to repurchase tax stamp |

Update: I sent the denial email to their multiple customer service emails, on the 11th, forwarded the email to them again, on the 18th as a reminder, and received a reply requesting more information, on the 28th. Still waiting on a reply, yet again, another week later. Over 1/3 the time it took for the disapproval to happen in the first place. At least they have time to browse arfcom. Incredible. |
