Thanks PA got mine...extremely well built. I am having a little trouble trying to get the diopter to turn...any secret to this...heat it up a little? |

I would not recommend heating up the optic. The diopter is meant to be a little stiff so it doesn't move under recoil. I gave mine a few full rotations and essentially "worked it out". It did get better. |

I get that my other Cyclops were difficult but I can get this to move at all kind of afraid to use a padded pliers for fear of voiding the warranty? |

Apparently (per brass facts review) it's the same mount that fails basic durability tests that the optic itself passes, which means another $100-150 on top of the base cost to get a mount you can be confident in. If this doesn't matter to you then it doesn't apply to you, rock on. A good mount especially if we're taking the glx line is low hanging fruit. |

Well, if using the largest cantilever possible while surviving hard drops on the optic is a priority you should probably buy a 1 piece mount anyway. For anyone else that just uses the straight mount with this optic it'll be fine. The mount is the way it is to give you the most options, it's not going to be the best possible solution for every scenario. If you wanted a box full of one piece mounts to come with it that's adding significant cost for something most people are going to throw away or leave in the box. |

Keep in mind though, not everyone does their due diligence and scours the web / youtube reviews to see how their particular mount configuration holds up; they may not realize there have been issues with the included cantilever mount. Therefore, especially when we're talking about the GLX line, if they cannot find a way to solve known issues at a reasonable cost as you assert, then frankly I'd rather they just ship with the straight mount. They can always do what primary arms does, and right there on the product page offer a discounted one piece cantilever mount that can be bundled with the optic under "optional accessories". That way, customers can spend the money if they want to, save the money if they don't, and either way they walk away with something that holds up and doesn't hurt the reputation of the optic (which is great) and company (which is also great) if they make a mistake and use... the wrong item included in their purchase. |

| I have never had a problem with any of my SLx 1x or 3x mounts, and I have multiple. No reason why the GLx mount should be any different. We'll see when I get mine mounted up. I don't abuse my guns/optics/mounts, but they do get used and tossed around quite a bit. |

| I received mine and have it mounted up on an ADM mount. Super happy with it and the killflash I got with it. The only thing I kinda was surprised by was the lack of the bikini cover. Not a deal breaker but I do like having something covering the glass for storage purposes. Other than that I am super happy with the optic and will probably get another one. |
