So been waiting on a Comp m5. Never had an aimpoint before but wanted to try. Seems very robust and light. It comes with battery (is a Duracell Industrial AAA) already installed. No red dot showing though. The included manual gives directions on how to install a battery, so I tried 2 more batteries. No red dot. This is my first experience with this, but I'm not seeing an On/Off, I'm assuming with the long battery life it is just always On. I did try the different intensities but still see nothing Is there an obvious trick here that I'm missing? I'm happy to admit I'm a noob if there is. I'm kinda disappointed that this a brand new Aimpoint that was on back order for months, get it and it seems to be not working. If it is brand new, do I call the dealer that sold it (a industry partner here and has a good rep) or do I contact Aimpoint? Thanks |
