Like the title says… if the barrel is full length, is it a problem? I’ve had both the 762SD and SDN6 on a 12” .308, no problem. Shooting an 8LB 6.5cm or .308 bolt gun without a can nor brake is no big deal. And I only ever use 51T blackouts on guns with my 762SD or SDN6 anymore… but I’m thinking about picking a .30 magnum and while I already have a direct thread can rated for .300WM, such a gun would have enough recoil that I’d like an actual brake on the gun when the cam isn’t mounted. So instead of having to decide between full time premium brake or full time direct thread suppressor… it’d be nice to just use a brake mount. |

If it’s made the same way as they were under the old AAC, then no, I wouldn’t use them on anything larger than .308. Win Mag pressures are too high |
