Users that may not be as familiar with our products would attempt to purchase a center-tab rail for a mil-spec upper and find that they now have to return the product. Some users were even just cutting off the center tab, and now compromised the function of the rail. The dual-tab system was functional for both systems so it was the best standalone option. So for some sales we would sell the center-tab handguard and the center-tab upper as a kit. That way there was no confusion, and the products fit perfectly together. Even with a center-tab upper the dual-tab handguards works perfectly fine, so it was the best solution for us. With the amount of options out there for the AR platform, we found that it is best to give users a handguard that they can adapt to other Mil-Spec platforms. |

I have to say, as a super duty owner, I’d like the ability to purchase a tabbed rail if I ever need a replacement. Is our only option to look for blems? Could you at least offer owners the option to call or email to order a tabbed rail? That way no one buys one by mistake, and those of us who want one can get one. |
| I ordered a stripped upper and Mk16 Blem on a sale some time ago. The upper I received was for a tabbed rail, but the rail wasn’t tabbed. Odd mix but meh. Almost all Geissele parts and love it. I think I like the look of the milspec Mk16 better anyway. |

If there was ever an issue with your rail, we always stand behind our product and would be happy to warranty it by getting you a new one. We do not currently have center tab available as a SKU for sale. We are always happy to talk about it with our team though and see if it something possible for the future! The issue always comes down to logistics. To have center tab rails stocked and available would encroach on production of dual tab rails which are more universal. With that being said, users in the future might be more willing to move away from the universal mil-spec if it was in favor of a system that is more streamlined. It is a good discussion to have! |
