According to the actual document from the FL Dept of Revenue, only specific firearms accessories are exempt. https://floridarevenue.com/taxes/tips/Documents/TIP_25A01-09.pdf Charging handles, grips, stocks, holsters, cleaning kits, and sights/optics. It says that firearm accessories not specifically listed are not exempt. A light and a switch for a light don’t appear to make the cut. Don’t trust AI to tell you the complete truth. |
