That FN mauser has been cut down by someone. it is threaded on however i do not know the thread pitch. I assume it is 5/8x24 because its .308 but i dont know for sure. I have not seen nor can i find another photo of any other FN mauser 98 like that so i would venture to say it is not original to the rifle either. |
