Really hoping the accuracy is there. Then hoping sales take off so that a long action version can be developed. 30-06, 7mm, 300wm, 300 PRC, etc. I want a 6.5 PRC as a hunting/target rifle. The video of it being used at Thunder Ranch was awesome, just several hours from here. |
| I am sure the Long Action will be sometime mid next year. From all the samples I've seen and shot, the accuracy is much more then required for a hunting rifle. |

| Finally got my hands on a Waypoint today. Smoky mountain knife works had a .308 and 6.5. I laid hands on the 6.5. Very light with a super smooth action and the trigger tech trigger had a nice break to it. Both had the carbon wrapped barrel and were the green camo versions. Non adjustable stock as well. Anyone else out there had their hands on one yet? |

I just placed an order for the adjustable stock version through one of Springfield's distributors. How long is the typical wait for the waypoint to be made and shipped once ordered? I've heard anywhere from 5-10 months. Is placing an order through a distributor the best way to secure a Waypoint? |

The waypoints are shipping monthly. And yes, the Distributor and Dealer network is the best way to find one, unless you can find one at one of the big online places. Check out South Dakota Arms, they routinely have them. Ask for Tala, her and her husband Clint run the place and are great people. |
