For someone who doesn;t need the illuminated reticle or locking turrets of the Strike Eagle then the Venom will save them $200. The Venom has a little less elevation than the Strike Eagle at 25 mils or 85 MOA but still plenty for most applications. |

anybody know which Tenebraex scope flip-cover fits the Venom 5-25x56 FFP, objective end (the end towards the muzzle, the fat end)? it comes down to which Tenebraex adapter ring... i found out it's not the VR0056-FCR, FWIW. threads are too loose. i've been using the Vortex Defender O-56, but they pop open too easily, inside the case, etc. I want something with a little more lid retention snap. I did try 3 different O-56's, same. ETA: probably would be better to ask in the Precision, Optic Forum. |
