We will be adding an absolute co-witness mount at a later date, but it will not be available with this first batch. I don't have any specific dates at this time of when that will be available, but I will keep the forum up to date when I have more information. Thanks!

Yes, I believe that some were sent to SWFA, but I don't know exactly how many. We should be getting a lot more in soon though, so I don't think people will have too long to wait!

I would tend to agree with you. I believe it has been stated that the low mount will be too low to co-witness on an AR-15 but in the event the optic fails, in a SHTF scenario you'd be removing the optic in favor of the flip-up sights anyway. I'm thinking pretty strongly about a low mount + a side rail on my recently purchased AK. |
from the pics it looks like it is a 1/3 type setup w/ the high mount, so you cold still see through it w/ a high mount, just the dot and the irons won't line up. just my opinion |

Yes, you should still be able to see your irons through the high mount. Personally, I wouldn't go with the low mount on an AR. I don't know if you'd be able to see your irons through the optic that way and you'd need a tool to remove the mount. Unless, of course, you went with one of the aftermarket QR mounts that is available and it didn't mess with your cheek weld. |

I was just trying to figure out which mount would be best for the Cx4. It looks like the high mount might allow for "shoot thru" type access to the factory irons. |
Yeah, I don't know. It certainly looks like you wouldn't be able to co-witness with the high mount. It would be iffy trying to do a "shoot thru" with the high mount. I'm not sure if the cutout on the high mount would line up properly with the irons. I think you'd probably be best going with the low mount and see if you can get a co-witness through the optic. If you are able to give me some measurements from the top of the rail to the top of the irons I can take a look at the mounts and let you know if I think it will work. |

They could only put me at the end of the line...sux 4 me...The guy who answered said they "only got like 2 of the high mounts in stock and a few low mount". |

Ok now I felt bad for you guys before so I am really sick now. Afraid what I am going to say will get me shot. I hadn't paid much attention to the Strikeforce till a little over a week ago when I got a new firearm. Not for sure which model I wanted to try; I ordered one of each on 8-26. I got notice today one is on its way today. I don't know which one. Time for me to go hide under the rock. |

I'm definitely interested in picking one of these up. Here's my question though. Some of the information I read mentions a 2X Doubler. Looking at the ordering info on the page below I can't find any information suggesting that either of these two sights comes with the doubler. The doubler is included with every StrikeFire that we are shipping out, so you should be fine. You just need to decide which ring height you want. |

I’ve got to hand it to you guys … thats one beautiful red dot! Fits the bill for most anyone. I’m really like that you put the controls on the left hand side. I never liked that the switch on an Aimpoint was on the upper right; it makes me have to reach over with my left. Looks like you guys improved the design, at least in my opinion. I’ll be down for one soon. |
