This sounder of wild pigs had been hitting a local cattle rancher's protein feeders. The pigs would come in almost nightly and raid the expensive feed costing the rancher time refilling the feeders and money buying more feed. This is one of many examples why feral hogs are primarily a nuisance animal, and need to be managed accordingly.  |
