| I have an older M300 Scout light with the 110 lumen head. I was looking at going to the 200 lumen head, but saw that the E1D Defender has a 300 lumen output. Could I just buy a E1D Defender and trade out the heads for a higher output on the M300? |
| You could do that however the E1DL has a 5 lumen low output mode that initiates when you double tap the push button (or a pressure switch pad)... an alternate solution is to get the EB1T and swap the head off of it. Aless expensive solution is to use the Malkoff Scout head conversion ($72.50 delivered). |

| When the EB1T head is used on an M300 Scout with the std. clicky tailcap (or tapeswitch) it actually works in high output only. |
