Can someone please explain when I might receive this? I bought a Sig optic last Sunday and it shipped Monday morning via USPS priority mail…or at least it made it to Houston where it's sat for the last week.. Attached File This reminds of when I did an order from Brownells and paid for 2 day delivery. It took 10 days for the item to arrive and when I called Brownells for a refund on the extra shipping their response was "it takes 2 days from when we ship it". Why is PA even offering USPS priority if the post office is going to take a week+ to even accept the package? |

Just a heads up, the only guaranteed delivery timeline for USPS is their priority mail express service. Everything else is just an estimate. First class, ground advantage, priority, and it essentially gets there when it gets there. Looks like the package was in a large pickup and USPS is in possession, but it hasn't been scanned into the mailstream as of yet. Should've been scanned at the local office or at their local processing plant. Stuff going through Houston, Atlanta and the other large distro centers either tend to A- move through quickly with no issue, or B- enter some kinda black hole and randomly pop up in the mailstream. |

Their shipping makes no sense. I live in Washington and have had items from Floriday get to me as fast as 2 days, I have items from California take a week. Both priority shipping. I have had tracking telling me it's here, only to show up a day or two later, or it says it will be here on Thursday and it shows up two days early. |

It's really based on the place it originates from and where it's going. It also depends on if it's a partner carrier -UPS, DHL, etc, and where the package is entered into the mail stream. UPS and Amazon direct drop their stuff at the local PO for delivery. People have no idea the amount of packages that are moving through the mail system in addition to the mail. Plus there are labor shortages and people don't want to work, so it's slowing things down more. Track it and if there isn't any movement in the USPS system after a week, call in and see if they can see what the issue is. |

2 weeks. Seriously. That USPS Hub apparently is notorious for this shit. A Priority package from Houston to Dallas should take no more than 2 days, at worst. I've had stuff get stuck there, reordered and received the replacement days before I got the original order. Unfortunately, its really out of PA's hands. Not sure what can be done. |

In my experience, sometimes USPS skips a few scans (like many federal agencies) because "time" and it'll show up later... Not to slide thread, but I had a package get seized last week by USPS for counterfeit postage. Ebay seller in NYC. Never had that happen before. Package is now evidence. |

I ordered an upper last week... got a shipping notice with tracking number... as of today tracking still says only the shipping label was created and USPS in not yet in possession of the item... Ordered something else last Friday and picked it up today. My money is on the upper never made it to the Post Office... too many distribution points for a scan not to hit. |

usps is meh i shipped something to VA on Friday. It got to VA on Monday. Then on Tuesday, it was in AZ. wtf. It's back in VA today. Let's see if it gets delivered. I once ordered something from a car parts company that is 32 minutes from my house but it was during covid so they weren't letting people come pick up. So I chose USPS figuring it'd be a day or two. It left the state twice and took 11 days to get to me. |

Talked to PA CS this am, they will have their "tracking team" "look into it"... what ever that means. I'm still feel confident my upper never got shipped. In the mean time, all the other stuff I ordered to complete a rifle, including a lower, has arrived or will be here tomorrow. |
