I had a scope sitting around that I thought I would trade in to swfa/samplelist. And got this as a response.
We appreciate the offer to trade or sell your item to us, however we will have to pass at this time as the item is not under our umbrella of expertise, we do not feel that we could sell your product in a timely manner, or we are too far apart as to the value of your item(s).
Thanks again for the offer, SWFA / Trades Dept I wish it was a little bit more specific. Its a currently produced higher end scope by a popular manufacture. If it's my asking price I was just guessing on a number. Can I ask for clarification or? I don't want to get blacklisted or anything like that, I traded in something before and had a very positive experience. |

call them on the phone and ask.
sometimes if its a brand they don't carry or something super expensive it may or may not be possible to negotiate a price that works. Usually you get more if you can sell it yourself but I have traded scopes in on other scopes there successfully several times. |
