I have a micro T1 with an LRP mount that was not very tight out of the box. It felt like it was snug on the rail when I closed the throw lever, but I was able to move it fore and aft by hand. So I tightened the adjustment nut, and tightened some more, and then some more, etc, etc until it was finally tight enough to not move. The adjustment nut had to be tightened until the adjustable space was clamped together. Looking at other pics of the LPR online this looks a little extreme. I sent an email to AImpoint customer service to get an opinion and to see if it needs to be replaced, but I figured I would ask here while I wait to hear back. This mount is awfully expensive in comparison to other mounts of known quality, so I want it to work correctly. Anyone else have experience with the LRP mount?
