They’re so soft shooting that it might be one of those things where the juice might not be worth the squeeze. |

Are standard lowers still going to be offered? If not, is this going to increase the price? My agency adopted these two years ago and we are buying 5-6 of them per year…for basically the rest of time. It ain’t my money so I don’t care, but it would be helpful to know! We’re placing our next order Jan 3 26. |

We’re placing our next order Jan 3 26. We just ordered 40 of the 11.5” Mod1A, or are in the process of it. Ours are being built with the standard SSA X, not the SSA E X, and with SF 3 prong flash hiders to accommodate the new RC4 we are pairing with them. The order process started last year and initially was for standard lowers, but because it takes our agency so long to accomplish anything, the order changed to ambi guns about two months ago prior to them being released commercially. Not sure if that means the standard lowers are no longer available or not. |

I had a 45 minute phone conversation with the Surefire national LE sales director regarding them. Surefire was very quick in identifying the deficiencies, either perceived or real, of the RC3 and correcting them. Like all Surefire suppressors, it’s geared towards total signature reduction (sound, flash, etc) and reducing blowback. It won’t be the quietest, which is often what the civilian world is looking for, but it will be a top notch duty and/or combat suppressor. Because Surefire has chosen to continue building with laser weldled baffle construction for the majority of the suppressor, they will not have the maintenance or longevity issues that are being seen with some of the other 100% 3D printed flow through suppressors that are in wide use. Maintenance on other suppressors isn’t terrible, but when your dealing with issuing 40-100 or more of them to a department, you have to plan to the lowest common denominator, which is the guy who has zero interest in maintaining any equipment. We’ve been using the RC2 for eight years, and I thought they were indestructible. They are until you have people that don’t give a shit and do zero maintenance. Then you end up with baffle strikes, broken welds, and RMA. So yeah, there is a benefit to buying the item that gives you the most longevity with the least amount of maintenance when your outfitting a group of people with varying levels of interest in their equipment. |

Would have loved to do that and get the SSA-X in ours...I love the E but, well, I don't have to explain that. |

We have to purchase through their LE representative ProForce. ProForce has been great to work with and was able to get what we requested from Geissele (SSA X and SF 3 Prong). It was just another step we have to take because of the political climate here in WA and how it turns businesses away from us. |

That’s an excellent question. I personally am not a fan of HUB cans. I prefer cans like the Surefire and HUXWRX that are predetermined for the given flash hider/adapter. I see too many HUB cans become loose. I am a strange sample size of 1 however, so my opinion doesn’t mean much. I think it would be nice to have factory options if we are still forced to buy a pin and weld 14.5” etc. My impression is even though they will charge $0 for the tax stamp, you still have to get a tax stamp and the NFA applies. As I said before, offering something like either HUXWRX or Surefire flash hiders would be wonderful, and something I would readily buy direct from you just to save myself time. |

Actually, I suggested drop boxes for various options to streamline the site. You could have barrel length, color, standard or ambi, flash hider, rail model etc. I definitely think the flash hider at least would be nice. I don’t like the Hux MD so I’d love to be able to buy an upper with a different muzzle device. Oh and here’s another vote for bringing back ODG, aka the best color ever.
