man i have been a member to this forum for almost a year and have been to this industry form and haven't seen this thread or any of the contest entries WHAT HAVE I BEEN MISSING o well better start trying my luck next month.

Thank you once again LaRue and team for your generosity. I never would have thought of winning such great items. I was already a lifetime customer as I have used your products downrange in both AO'S and they have never failed. I think of this as my deployment gift from this last deployment to Afghan. I will not be able to post pictures as I will not be home until November and HH6 does not want to open it for me as she wants me to do it myself .
Below is a picture of my son who was born on Christmas day. I was fortunate enough to come home on R&R for his birth. The best day of my life. Dillo has found its way to him and they have become buddies.

Was out in the yard with my dog, Magnum, and the Big Brown Truck of goodness pulls in the driveway. I was like "WTF, I just ordered some Pmags on Wednesday, that was fast shipping".
Walk over and see a big LaRue box. I quickly sign and grab the box. Once inside. 
Let's open it, shall we?

Came from OCONUS to find this lovely box. Was a little anxious to open it that I almost forgot to take pics. Camera is packed with HHGs so all I had was the IPAD. Will take more once a lower is found to match it to the beautiful Stealth Upper! September UHFO Winner. Thanks a bunch to Mark and LaRue team, you guys do extremely enough for the industry, the troops, and the loyal customers. Keep on doing what you guys do.

Well Magnum's part GSD. His mom was 1/2 GSD and 1/2 Lab. His dad was full Chessie. Here he is, guarding the living room with Bullet the Battlecat. (Excuse the bag of trash in the background, my son hadn't taken it out). 
Oh yeah, I scrounged around and found what I needed to finish a rifle with my new Stealth upper! Now I need to find some time to go shoot.

I got mine just a couple weeks before I left on a deployment.. Left it in the wrapper until I've got a lower for it. Already have an LPK, but I need to find a Giessele in stock somewhere! Hoping to throw it on a POF lower. I'll post completed project after I return from my deployment! Was definitely needed since I've only got a 6.8 AR at my place... My 5.56 DCM (with 3 lbs of lead in the stock and forearm) stays in the safe at Mom's.
Mark and crowd, thank you from the bottom of my heart. I can't wait to get back from my deployment and build this rifle. |
