Not sure I have it figured out how long does the thread stay posted before the contest ends and a winner is selected?
I did find a couple rules –– submit a number between 1 and 2000 and dont edit it or add anything else, but Im still not sure where to find the thread - does location of it change and you just have to search for it on the first of the month? |
Received my giveaway package today! Here it is with the Larue outfitted gun I already had:  Can't thank the guys at Larue enough, what an awesome set of gear. I've ordered quite a bit of stuff from Larue over the years and have never been disappointed. This is Christmas come early for me. Now I just need to decide what kind of optics to get for it. In the meantime I think I'm going to throw an old super sniper 10x42m on it and plink around. Thanks again to Larue!  |

I am currently working away from home but my package came in Friday and my wife brought it up when she brought the family to visit this weekend. Here it is in my hotel room:  I have ordered a Larue lower to go with it and will post pics when I get it assembled. My daughter saw the hat and asked to wear it the next day while we were out:  Thanks again Mark. You have made me and my daughter very happy. |

I am out at firearms training for two weeks, and of course while I'm away someone from work called and told me that a package "big enough to fit half an AR15" from "something Tactical" arrived with my name on it. I'll have to stop by work on the way home after the class is over and see what came!

Wondering if someone could clarify on the UHFO contest.... If you are the lucky one who's number is picked and decided the winner, I'm confused about the picture posting part. How do you know who won the contest last? Where do you find a picture of what they won? What if they didn't post a picture of what they won? Or is it any previous winner? Just wanting some clarification if someone would be kind enough to give it to me.

In the contest thread Mark posts the winning number and in many cases edits the thread title with the person's name. You don't find the pictures unless they post in this thread or others with what they got. The prize pack can change from time to time. IE they use to ship them in hard cases but not it seems from the pics that they are shipping in the larue bag(which is a nice bag). The upper is one of their 16 inch uppers and can be the dmr one with a fsb, the normal stealth, or I believe someone got an obr lite upper in theres. Larue generally includes some mounts, and one of their ude kits along with some other misc stuff like sights. |

The contest report thread that mnd posts has a link to a contest overview which lists all of the previous winners. As for those that don't post pictures, I recall Mr. LaRue once referring to them as "solly bastages" and heard a rumor that they're visited upon by some hard pipe-hittin' dillos. |

Grrr, I hate being a newbie. I checked the report link that was posted above and I am listed, as well as someone else, so I am assuming that means I am entered and not too mention duped (my name was listed first).
Also, I am still not clear on the picture posting if you do win.... Do you post a pic of the gear that person the month before won? I've read through a lot of posts and I'm not catching the answer, or at least clearly. |

Seems like getting a Team membership to Arfcom is the least a person could do after they win a $2,000+ setup that they never would have gotten without said site. |
