Some old school CMMG  
First one has an original run 14.5" w/perm Phantom 1/7 CMMG barrel (marked DPMS who contracted the barrels) from the time when nobody would sell civilians 1/7's 
And this one has a first run CMMG marked 14.7" w/perm A2 1/7 LW barrel.

Several years ago (2008), I bought a stripped CMMG lower and SBRd it. I finished it off with a CMMG parts kit and stock.
In 2011, I bought a CMMG M7 upper half (7.3" 5.56) to complete it. In 2015 I had the 5.56 barrel swapped out with a CMMG 8" barrel in 300 Blackout. This year, I got my first suppressor. I have some other changes I plan on making (M-LOK handguard will be next), but here it is now, 9 years after I started. 
I need to find the time to get some outdoor shots of it. |

Built this upper on Sunday to go with my SBR lower.
The upper uses a 9mm CMMG Guard 8" barrel and BCG. The PMAGs have 9mm Endomags inside of them (they offer a version specifically for CMMG uppers). Between the delayed blow back upper and the A5 receiver extension on the lower, I cannot believe how smooth it shoots.

It would be nice if people stopped using Photobucket.
1) Their watermark ruins the point of posting the image. 2) The images are blurry to anyone not having a Photobucket account. There tens of thousands of images posted on arfcom, that are/were uploaded and linked to Photobucket. And they ALL SUCK. |
