I got two deer this weekend with my Franken-Larue 6.8. What a great gun!
The one in the back was a 110+ lb doe, the little guy front is a small button buck. These are my 2nd and 3rd trigger pulls on deer in my life. The season is over for me now (those pesky jobs get in the way) but next year I'll make sure not to take such a small deer again. |

My brother and I got a double this weekend. Two males, his was a youngster, mine was a pretty mature male...

I suppose you could call this a "pre-dinner" picture. This morning I picked up the last of my three deer for the season, all taken with Larue products. My 5.5cu freezer is full to the brim with all manners of venison steaks, roasts and summer sausage. I can't believe I was able to get steaks and a 5 gallon bucket of sausage from one deer.

Taken with an Armalite and LaRue combo (Buddy was shooting the Armalite, we shot at the same time). I was shooting the LaRue, therefore I say I connected with a nice neck shot with the exit at the ear. No pic of the rifle, but it is my 3 gun Rifle... Stealth upper with VTAC Tube and an TA01 Acog. We got him at 260 yds. |

Yes, he was calling and the Female Bobcat came in first. He shot her and then her 4 little ones came in and basically let him pick them off one by one. The funny thing is, my brother and I bought this land 11 years ago. He has killed multiple bobcats, coyotes and foxes. I've seen 4-5 bobcats, but either didn't have a gun with me or saw them as they were leaving at a very fast pace. I've yet to kill a bobcat at our place. To my brother's credit, he does do A LOT of calling and is really good at it. I typically hunt more for deer and don't spend near as much time hunting predators as he does.

This one, my 12 year old shot on November 3rd at 9:05 am. Not a LaRue gun, but it does have the LT UDE kit and an Aimpoint T1/LT660 on it. Here is the doe I shot this year with the pictured OBR 7.62. It has the Gemtech Sandstorm on the end of it. I really like not having to wear hearing protection in the stand...

Bump.
11.5" SBR in 5.56 with Larue LT-103 BUIS. Round used was 55gr SP. First hog taken standing still, offhand at 30 yards. The second hog was taken while running, offhand, approx 40 yards. He had good reason to be high tailing it outta there

18in TAR/5.56 77gr Federal Sierra Match, Ran out of the brush about 8-10 yds away and was coming at me in a straight line. He died 5 yds to my left, and dressed out came in at 135lbs.
Exit wound, one round through both ears. 
2 rounds went through behind his front shoulder, and 2 rounds went in from the front.
