Pulled my trusty T-1 out of the safe after about a year since the last time I used it; the red dot only comes on when I turn the knob to the very highest setting. No dot at any of the lower settings, not even in the dark. Changed the battery and this made no difference.
Has anyone else had this experience and/or solved the problem before? Cheers, Tim |

I had the same issue with my brand new T-2 today. Was shooting with it at the "9" setting, and the dot just disappeared. Cycled the settings a few times, dot would only show at the highest setting. Yes, I know the optic has NV settings, but the top half of the settings should be visible without NVG's. When I got home, a few hours later, I checked it and it's working fine. I've had multiple other Aimpoint optics, some with NVG settings and some without (M3, M4S, Micro H-1 and T-1) and have never seen this issue before.
I e-mailed LaRue (bought T-2 from them) about an exchange/refund. I trust all my other Aimpoints with my safety and security but I can't in good conscience trust this one after it failed in the middle of shooting. |
