Greetings everyone! I want to introduce myself to you all. My name is Steve Horsman, and I have been with Springfield Armory in one capacity or another for 16 years or so. I spent 4 years in the Marine Corps, from 1984 to 1988, and started my Law Enforcement career in the Spring of 1988 and was lucky enough to retire in the Summer of 2015. My primary function at Springfield Armory has been to assist with our LE sales over the years and attend many of the LE trade shows thru out the country. I have a deep knowledge of all of our products and have used all of our products either in my LE career, in many different types of firearms competition, as well as concealed carry. I will do my best to answer your questions, and would like to think of myself as a resource for any of you that need assistance with any of our guns. | I'd like to see us sell some of the proprietary parts, like handguards and such, but as of now, with such a huge demand for all guns, we are focusing on complete guns. |

Good evening, Since the manufacturer of the BCG and bolt in the Springfield Saint MLOK 223/5.56NATO 16" 30+1 ST916556BMA is a mystery (although I'm positive it it high quality), I'm requesting a Springfield Armory Subject Matter Expert recommend a quality bolt assembly (I can purchased on the open market) that the fit and function matches the BCG in my Springfield Saint MLOK 223/5.56NATO 16" 30+1 ST916556BMA. I want to carry a spare bolt assembly in my range bag (for the just in case moment). I don't want to buy a bolt assembly that won't pair well with the BCG in my Saint. |
| One thing you need to consider is the headspace of any BCG or bolt replacement. Most barrel with barrel extensions are built to really good tolerances it is still critical to check the headspace. There are many good bolts and BCG’s available. |
