So what was the story on the old forum?

I know a lot of people must still be curious. What was the story? Was it a hacker? Was everything lost? Will it ever be back? The forum went down when I was just starting to build my Grendel (which sucked for me), and I'm hoping to still get a look at some of the info all the users compiled for when I'm shooting mine (ammo loads, etc)

Hacked very deeply and maliciously, data loss, trying to recover as much as possible, and rebuild the board into a more robust situation.

Grendelizer is still working on it, but he readily admits he is not a computer guy, so has accepted help from a more experienced member. He hopes to have it up anytime.
