Not plating, they look to be still "in the white". Is it some type of high speed engraving? I didn't realize they did any of that submerged but it looks like there's some type of machining going on.

The mag well of the receivers were being cut by wire EDM

Laser engraving is used for something else on our lower, I can't wait to show you guys

Just make sure to do the deep laser engraving so I don't lose the coolness of whatever logo it is when I have it blasted and Cerakoted.



Oh... and post a f*cking picture so I can decide if I want to wait to file the Form 1 for my next SBR!

The depth is to BATF specs, we are contemplating more depth to accommodate the minute thickness anodizing will add.

Selector positions will be pictogram, 3 position, and 45/90 compatible not only for semi auto selectors but for customers with DIAS as well (0-50/90-180)

If you need to get one, don't let us hold you up, you know how long we take to do anything but in the end it'll be worth the wait  We don't release something unless we're happy with it, and so the receiver project has taken us 9 months thus far to get to where we are, though we're almost there, we still can't quote a firm ETA...

Gimme a few weeks before releasing it.... I need to recover from Christmas, and I don't want them to sell out before I can get one!  

BTW, I know you've said it's going to be low shelf, but will it have the thick SP1-style side wall on the right side, or will it have two thin walls?  A DIAS will fit in either one, but it has more lateral support when the SP1 "hump" is there.  Here's a pic of the difference:

SP1 spec, we are engraving AUTO pictogram on the receiver for the same reason: to make it usable with RDIAS

Maybe the lower will incorporate AXTS's A-DAC feature?

I noticed AXTS removed the forged lower from there website.

Perhaps BAD is going to be producing them now?

The EMR rapid prototypes were just sent out to testers last week.  During the Christmas holidays, USPS takes longer to deliver, folks are just now receiving them.

The polymer rapid prototype units can't have fine threads, so the purpose is test out the theory behind the change we made to the mag release button, as it can't be installed and used.

So far the reception has been good, and we are sourcing material in order to commence production.

Meanwhile, we're working with Seekins to make a Battle Arms version of the Seekins bolt catch, but we'll release the Battle Arms LPK before the bolt catch is complete, as between the Seekins original and Battle Arms versions, there are only minor functional and cosmetic differences.

Re: release date for either, we typically don't quote ETA unless we know for sure.  We don't want to be a part of the "2 weeks, every 2 weeks" joke lol.

The last example of which can be demonstrated by the release of the EPS (enhanced pins set), when they were announced, folks could actually order them and receive them without undue delay.   We had the products in hand, but waited till at least a few dealers had acquired them before announcing it to ensure multiple buying sources were available.
