That page on silencer shop is based on recent approvals. Forms that are currently pending that have taken longer aren't factored in yet. OP fails to understand this, yet talks of people being Baltimore public school educated. Okay look man we know you actually just mean the n word. Anyway, yeah, it's likely that their current data, the way they maintain the figures, probably has their longest approval since the beginning of the time window they are currently looking at, is about 9 months. Interestingly, since I ordered a can six months ago, basically every approval on the tracker page had been between 260 and 280 days, with a couple of exceptions that were shorter, usually after a resubmitted form. |

Howdy, the ATF Wait Time Tracker is auto-generated based on the previous 7 days of approvals and gives a median range. This does not mean that a form is guaranteed to be approved within this window, just that it is average. If a large number of forms were approved past the window, then the window would adjust accordingly, if that makes sense. It is just a toll to help gauge current wait times but is not meant to predict when your specific form will be processed. - Chase |

I did this one as a trial and was looking at several others, but no more. At this point if it were possible I'd rather refund it and be done with this process. It's not worth having the ATF spend that much time looking at one's life for something as benign as a suppressor. |
