I'm looking at the PSA Sabre .300blk Moss Green with the Riflespeed gas block. Does anyone know what the status is for the Riflespeed plunger that is included on current models of this pistol? Reading reviews, it appears that the plunger that is being included is either forcing guys to use max gas setting with subsonic ammunition even with suppressor... If it even runs at all. Those reviews are a little dated so was curious if PSA has updated this. An alternative is to get the PSA Mixtape, but I already have a green PSA Sabre SBR 5.56 so it would be cool to have a matching upper to swap onto the SBR lower. Thanks in advance. |
| I havent heard a single negative for the riflespeed gas block. My $.02 is people that post negatives online (which is an exceptionally small percentage of what PSA sells) are guys that don't know what they are doing. They likely changed things before even shooting the gun. If they are buying the stand alone upper then you would need to know their buffer and spring set up also. |

Some of these reviews I'm referring to are for the complete pistol and standalone upper. Also as far as the Riflespeed gas block, I have one on my 5.56 and it's fantastic. This doesn't sound like a Riflespeed issue... It's that PSA is "possibly" using a plunger that isn't sized correctly for subsonic rounds. I'm trying to figure out which one is shipped in this upper/pistol. The plungers can be purchased from Riflespeed, but I'd prefer not to buy a brand new gun and have to immediately swap parts. |
| Im betting it issues the user caused. Keep in mind PSA has a lifetime warranty on their stuff and that they test shoot everything before it leaves the factory |
