I installed 2 new SSA-E X triggers in new LMT Mars-L lowers and both hammers aren't centered. In the photo's you can see one is worse then the other. They function fine and feel great. Is this normal for these triggers? Attached File Attached File |

Hello OP! With two piece trigger designs having the hammer slightly off-center is perfectly normal. You have a tolerance stack between the hammer, disconnector, trigger body, and lower receiver. Especially with the wide body X series there is more than enough engagement on the two surfaces. If you have any functional issues do not hesitate to reach out, but you should be good to go! |

Hey, not sure if youll see this but I just ran into an issue on my LMT MARS-L lower as well with two different SSA-Es. It’s definitely the lower because both triggers work fine in other lowers I have, but not the LMT. LMT has had horrific QC of late so wouldn’t be surprised if yours was bad too. Does it work for you? Mine technically will fire but it feels like it has three stages instead of two and sometimes it takes a lot of force to get the hammer to actually fall, like its not being allowed to move the sear enough to slip. |
