Whats frustrating with Colt, is that, They are in such demand that you have a hard time getting what you want because of the demand. I'm afraid that its going to be tough to get a 901 when they do come out due to demand. it's funny how so many people hate on Colt. I'm sure when the 901 comes out, there will be haters. I sure hope to have one this month boys. I cant stand the waiting.
Looked up the ballistics on a 16 inch barrel like shawn said. a lot of conflicting results. Some as low as 2350fps and 2770fps. colt claims the 901 muzzle velocity of 2770 fps. I don't believe the lower velocity is very accurate for a 16 inch barrel. And what I mean by that is that the velocity number is low and I don't believe to be true. I believe the ammo to be M80 ball 147gn. If anyone has more insight on what we can expect with the 901, please let us know. thanks |

| I may have bad news boys! I called Colt today and talked to a gal named Heather. She told me the LE901 will not be released to distributors in April. It will be in the summer. She worked in customer service. I don't know what to think now. I hope one of you have another " in" at Colt. What do you all think??????? |

| The email I received from the Colt rep. "Alex, we were told to tell people March at shot show it would be out. That did not happen. We in Colt's mfg are waiting for Colt's defense to make the gun. I know they wont release until it passed all our tests. I think soon in the next 60 days" quote. I hope that explains. |

the last thing I heard that I guess you could call "semi offical" news was, may at the earliest. other then that, dont trust anything else you hear out there have no idea what is causing the delay. maybe some patent waiting??? Im guessing on that delay though, |
