I have SOC-C sling attachments on many of my long arms, and run a releasable vest made by BAE (the RBAV, similar to a CIRAS). At one time there was a BFG product called the SOC-C-RVS, in which the sling attachment points tied into the vest release mechanism, so that if the vest was cut away the weapon sling was too. The original version of the product attached to one side of the vest. Thereafter, a Mark II design was released which tied into both shoulders of the vest, and the sling tail attached to a runner which slid between the two points.
To BFG: Why was this product discontinued? To BFG and any end-users: Are there any downsides to using this method of attachment, assuming I can find one? Thank you. |

JBrown, the demand for this product was not sufficient to justify us continuing to make them. You might be able to find them from dealers that carry our product.
