Took some new pictures so here are mine again. Big thanks goes to Steve at ADCO Firearms for the OPS suppressors and building the bottom two for me. Think I will have the Recce barrel coated black and an OPS brake installed to fit the 15th model. RRA post-ban entry tactical.   RRA SPR MK12 mod1   RRA Recce

Awesome and OMG! Is that a Unertil on there? How are you mounting it and accounting for the minor flex/deflection that you're going to pick up from the free float tube? You're going to have to bring that out to RRA sometime to let me see that rig. Steve/RRA |
steve, yeah thats my 14 power unertl off of my target rifle. as far as the flex in the free float tube well so far so good. ive only seen one other unertl mounted on a AR. he had a custom free float tube made back in the early 80's. it worked for him, and ill keep you posted on how mine works. here is his and thats where i got the idea. http://www.pbase.com/image/3200593 -chris |

Chris dropped by with that rig today. All I can say is "sweet. I'm into Unertils anyway, and I had only previously seen one on an AR-style tifle...but not the same one he had seen. Sometimes understatement says a lot more than overdoing it. Chris, thanks for bringing it by, and if I ever get around to doing my coffe table AR book, I'll have to include it.  Steve/RRA |

Thanks Steve. It would look even better with an RRA Gov't profile 1/7 14.5" chrome-lined barrel with permanent flash suppressor. But, RRA doesn't make one.  Could you work on that?

Yeah...what's another three or four barrel SKUs amongst the couple hundred already in use? Seriously, once several of the major projects that we're involved in are completed, I want to do several special runs of barrels just to fill some niches that we don't currently offer. I've been building a list for a couple of years, and some have seen the light of day and others will as well. Steve/RRA |
